'Etter Elveleiet' [Following the Riverbed] written and originally recorded July 21st 2022 in Stranda, Norway. This song is inspired by the multiple rivers, where the water flows and flows and flows...sometimes interrupted by cascades or ending up in lakes and fjords.
'Gjestehytte Jakobina' [Guest Cabin Jakobina] written and originally recorded July 26th and 27th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. The cabins in Bjørkedalen have the names of four sisters who lived there more than a century ago. Jakobina is one of them.

'Lyden Av Møre og Romsdal' [The Sound of Møre and Romsdal] written and originally recorded in Stranda, Norway, July 24th 2022. The title has been inspired by a national radio station of Norway, 'LydenAvNorge'.
'Komplisert Konstruksjon Fem' [Complicated Construction Five] written and originally recorded in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway, July 30th 2022. Originally this classic strings soundscape should be added as a backing track to 'Vej 258', but ended up as a song on its own.
'Vej 258' [Road 258] written and originally recorded July 30th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. Inspired by the beautiful road 258, which was high in the mountains with lots of snow and ice on the waters.
'58D' written and originally recorded in Stranda, Norway, July 24th 2022. The title happens to be the number of one of the cabins we were staying.

'Utviklende Skyer' [Evolving Clouds] written and originally recorded July 29th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. This year it wasn't a great summer in Norway. The blue sky sometimes filled itself with lots of clouds.
'Isøyer i Solskinnet' [Ice Islands in the Sunshine] written and originally recorded in Stranda, Norway, July 24th 2022. As the weather in the spring and summer were not very good in Norway, there was still a lot of ice on the mountain lakes.
'Spunk' written and originally recorded July 27th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. 'Spunk' has no meaning at all and was a word invented by Astrid Lindgren in her book "Pippi (Långstrump) Hitter En Spunk!"

At the end of a nice trip through the mountains we ended up in front of a closed shop, where we wanted to buy a nice cardigan.
'En Øde Fjordøy' [A Deserted Fjord Island] written and originally recorded July 28th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. There are so many places in Norway, where once were living farmers...
'Blåsalen' [The Blue Hall] written and originally recorded July 27th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. This is not actually a blue hall, but the name of a mountain top in Vestland (Norway) near Bjørkedalen.
'Snø På Fjelltoppen' [Snow On The Mountain Top] written and originally recorded July 28th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. Even during the summer in Norway you can still see a lot of snow on the mountain tops.
'Fjellånd' [Mountain Spirit] written and originally recorded July 25th 2022 in Nordre Bjørkedalen, Norway. Every area with mountains has its own stories about spirits, who (used to) live in the mountains. This song is about one of these spirits.
